photographic tours, you will explore Kenya’s most
popular national parks /Game reserves - Samburu Game
Reserve has spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and
forests. It is an area where the local people have a
rich and colorful heritage. The reserve has numerous
permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which
includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated
giraffe, gravy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro
River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in
the sanctuaries. Then proceed to Lake Nakuru National
park claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the
over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is
a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight
of the at times millions of flamingos is quite
spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in
pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an
important haven for endangered species- particularly the
Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions,
waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
The climax of this tour will be in Maasai Mara national
park; Maasai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and
abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450
species of animals have been recorded here. You will
easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe,
wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals,
wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and
elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most
spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This
is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and
zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water
and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators
of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena
and vultures.

Day 1 : Arrival – Nairobi
Meet and assist service at Jomo Kenyatta international
airport- Transfer to Nairobi safari club hotel for
overnight stay
Day 2 : Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs and drive via the
scenic Great Rift Valley, A brief stop at the view point
to get a view /take photos of the Great Rift Valley. You
arrive Masai Mara in good time for lunch. Afternoon game
drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge
Day 3/4 : Maasai Mara
Full days spent exploring the park /drive to Mara river
for the migration crossing and other scenic parts on the
game reserve while you take photos/video. Dinner and
overnight stay at Keekerok lodge
The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most
popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most
visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’
was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually
every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A
spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of
millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti
plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to
reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The
dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the
migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to
August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to
about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon
safaris are readily available in this park
Day 5 : Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National park
Pre breakfast game drives then return to the lodge for
breakfast. Depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru
National park famed for numerous species of birds and
more so the pink flamingoes. Lunch at Sarova Lion Hill
lodge – then proceed for afternoon game drives
/photographing in the magnificent park. Dinner and
overnight stay at Sarova lion Hill Lodge
Day 6 : Lake Nakuru National park
Full day spent exploring /photographing the park. Dinner
and overnight stay at Sarova Lion hill lodge

Day 7 : Lake Nakuru – Samburu
Breakfast then depart the lodge soon after breakfast and
drive to Samburu game reserve to arrive by lunch time.
After lunch embark on a game drive to sight resident
wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's
Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich
that are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and
overnight will be at the spectacular Samburu lodge
Day 8/9: Samburu game reserve
Full days spent exploring the park/ getting the best
shots in the parks. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu
lodge .Optional visit to Samburu villages to learn the
Samburu people’s way of life/take photos with them can
be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 25 per person.
